Off switch for my brain please…
Sometimes I wish I had a little off switch in the back of my head to stop the cogs from turning inside. This would help greatly with my sleeping situation, it feels like this month has been so busy and involved that even when I try to sleep I’m forced to think of my to do list and how it’s not going to get done.
So much is on my mind these days, I feel like I’m going to arrive at one of those “major life crossroads” fairly soon. Only it’s not just one fork in the road, it’s looking like the freeway system in California right now. I’m excited and anxious for the many new decisions coming my way, it would only be better if I could just shut down my system and get something more acceptable than 4 hours of continuous sleep in a day.
Surely someday science will invent such a switch.
Long night at work
I work a 13 hour 20 minute nightshift and some days when I somehow make it home on auto pilot I do some pretty odd things.
Odd then #1 trying to use my ID badge to open my home garage
Odd thing #2 (also done today) washing my hair with body wash because I was too tired to see that I grabbed the wrong bottle.
Suds are suds right?
